WATER'S EDGE CALADIUMS

   Caladium ‘Water’s Edge’ is a 2016 fancy-leaved introduction. The caladium variety Aaron has been a long time favorite due to its sun tolerance and therefore usefulness in the landscape. Over the past 4-5 years production of Aaron has dropped due to its susceptibility to bacterial leaf spot. Water’s Edge is similar to Aaron in appearance and sun tolerance but it less susceptible to bacterial leaf spot. When used in pots Water’s Edge has a better habit due to increased branching.  In a number of trials Water’s Edge had a shorter pot crop time when compared to Aaron. Water’s Edge is useful in pots, patio planters and the landscape.
